How Chiropractic Care Remedies Elbow Pain

Elbow pain is not just elbow pain. It may be associated with your neck, shoulder and wrist. Our goal is to find out the cause and create a treatment plan that will enhance long-term healing.

Step 1: Identify the Cause of Your Pain

We perform a complete examination on:

  • Neck (Cervical Spine): we assess your neck for restriction that can irritate nerves related to the forearm.
  • Shoulder and Wrist: we test the joint motion since the abnormal movement will strain the elbow.
  • Forearm Muscles: we test the tightness, trigger points, or scar tissue that tug on the tendons.

Step 2: Hands-On Chiropractic Treatment

Our chiropractors use a variety of effective and gentle techniques to restore motion and to reduce pain in the elbow:

  • Joint Adjustments: We manually adjust the neck, elbow, wrist, and shoulder to relieve tension on the tendons.
  • Soft Tissue Therapy: We break up scar tissue, release trigger points, and relax hypertonic muscle to restore mobility
  • Therapeutic Modalities: we are able to use ultrasound for deep tissue healing or laser treatment to reduce inflammation when needed

Step 3: Active Recovery and Exercise

Your rehabilitation is ongoing at home and we will provide you with a personalized exercise program to help your tendon and muscles return to strength and resilience.
